We're happy to welcome two new team members at RCHF - Stephanie and Kelly! Kelly joins as our new Manager, Physician Engagement and is an experienced business professional with an extensive background in relationship building. She brings over 20 years of knowledge in Business Development, Account Management, Customer Service and Marketing. Kelly has lived in New Westminster for over 20 years and both her boys were born at Royal Columbian Hospital. Outside of work she is a hockey mom and spends time volunteering for various school and hockey related activities. Stephanie is our new Senior Officer, Events & Sponsorships and has spent the last 15 years working for non-profits and in fundraising and brings several years of event and sponsorship experience. She is excited to join this extraordinary team at the RCH Foundation! Help us in welcoming Kelly and Stephanie to RCHF!

About us
Building on a strong tradition of caring and community support, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF) was established in 1978 to raise funds for the hospital’s first CT Scanner. For more than thirty years, the mission of RCHF has been to raise money to help the hospital save lives, restore health and provide comfort to seriously injured and ill patients of all ages. Today, RCHF is an independent charitable organization that raises millions of dollars each year to fund major projects, priority equipment needs, facility enhancements, research, education and innovation at RCH. Thousands of individuals, businesses, community groups and foundations in surrounding communities and across the region provide generous support to help RCHF achieve its vision — to inspire giving and grow funding so patients have access to the best in health care at Royal Columbian Hospital. On June 24th, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation attended the 15th Annual Ben Backman Memorial Industry Leaders Invitational Golf tournament with the Construction Labour Relations Association of BC (CLRA). All proceeds from this annual event directly benefit Royal Columbian Hospital with the event raising over $36,000 this year alone! For more than a decade before his passing, Ben Backman and his family supported RCH and his legacy continues with the golf tournament, with a total of $115,421 raised to date.
