We are really looking forward to #CISummit2024 and encourage everyone to check out MLSE LaunchPad's most recent Change the Game Research Study released today. https://lnkd.in/gN43fRH
🎥 At our Summit last year, Katie Cheesbrough of Relate Social Capital shared this powerful message. 🏒 Need to break down silos and work together. 🏒 Noted 84% of youth in Ontario don’t feel like they can reach out to anyone to talk about discrimination & racism. 🥅 This is why we are convening thought leaders to gather at #CISummit2024 – "For The Love of the Game" to engage in important conversations and identify actionable solutions to make the game more inclusive and welcoming to all. Please join us in Toronto on Jan. 30-31. Register now at https://lnkd.in/gia3BuAt #HockeyIsForEveryone #Inclusion #Opportunity

THANK YOU! We are proud to build purpose-led, insight driven programs and partnerships within this incredible community, and this year didn’t disappoint. From using sport for good to inspire 100,000s of youth, advancing the women’s sport landscape, and supporting companies in their quest to be true impact leaders. May the New Year bring even more opportunities to collaborate, inspire and create lasting positive impact, leveraging the power of sport. Wishing you and your families a safe and happy holiday season!

Herbert Carnegie was born on this day in 1919 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Today, we remember the legacy of a truly incredible man who left the world a better place than he found it. Herb blazed a trail in #hockey which earned him his rightful place in the Hockey Hall of Fame. But that is only part of his story. He was a successful businessman, championship golfer, and most notably, a social justice icon. After hanging up his skates, he spent nearly 60 years impacting the lives of countless thousands of people. The Carnegie Initiative – co-founded by his daughter Bernice Carnegie – uses Herb’s legacy as the foundation for what we do and how we promote and drive sustainable change to hockey culture. In doing so, the impact of our work is changing the lives of individuals and entire communities.
