With generation 7 of our Phoenix™ general purpose robots, we reduced the time it takes for new tasks to be automated from weeks to less than 24 hours, marking a major inflection point in task automation speed and autonomous system capability. Our CEO and co-founder Geordie Rose, in an interview with Herbert Ong,  explained that we now only need a couple of hundred data examples in order to train the systems to autonomously carry out simple tasks, calling the development “remarkable”. He also revealed that, for some of these simple policies, we're seeing a near 100% success rate, which is a critical component of technology which is precise and reliable enough to carry out work tasks like a person. Data collection and training is paving the way towards a future where our general purpose technology can be deployed into and work within all industries.
