📣 Do you spend time in and around the river? If you spend time by the St. Lawrence River, aboard a boat or walking along the shore, be sure to look out for eels! Click the following link for a short survey to fill out when you spot an eel👇 https://arcg.is/18rWOr1 Eel sightings can also be reported to [email protected] if email is a preferred method of reporting. When emailing, please include the following information: · A photo of the eel · Date of the sighting · GPS coordinates or location · Approximate body length · Description of visible injuries With your help, we can have more eyes on the water for more eels to be spotted. If you have any questions, please reach out using the above email. The attached photos are previously documented eels and demonstrate what you might find. *Please remember that American Eels are an endangered species in Ontario and can not be handled without a permit.
