STACKT had officially expanded with the first location in Ottawa, ON at the ByWard Market District Authority. Over the past 5-years, we’ve launched innovative concepts to test and learn. We’ve met with over 5,000 businesses and directly hosted 3,000 retailers at our Toronto flagship. Small businesses need additional resources to succeed. We've got news. In 2019, STACKT opened the gates of the Toronto flagship at Front and Bathurst Streets. This was a temporary project scaling across a full city block. 5 years later, STACKT has shown a new way of thinking. We have hosted +3,000 businesses, +1,800 events, contributed to creating +10,000 jobs, and have welcomed over 5 million guests through our front gates. Now, STACKT is here to stay. Thanks to our strong community and City of Toronto for providing a runway for the next 10 years. This once started off as a pilot project. Now, we can formally call 28 Bathurst Street our home. This month marks an important milestone for STACKT as we are celebrating our 5th birthday at our Toronto flagship. The STACKTˣ Storefront Grant provides small businesses an opportunity to pop up for free at STACKT's flagship in Toronto. Last night, we hosted the inaugural STACKTˣ Social Conference: an exclusive event dedicated to Canadian small businesses. With over 230 in attendance, the event provided small businesses with an opportunity to network and meet one another, learn from inspiring speakers, get some rewards from our grant winners and partners, and have some fun enjoying the good energy.
