Sysco Canada also donated $10,000 from the Nourishing Neighbours program bringing the total to a whopping $17,663! For the second year in a row, #SyscoWinnipeg has been recognized with Sysco’s global FY24 Volunteer Site of the Year Award! Sysco Winnipeg continues to lead by example, representing the #SyscoPurpose of connecting the world to share food and care for one another. In FY24, more than 100 Sysco Winnipeg colleagues volunteered 1,575 hours to combat hunger and support their communities. As Carmen Singh, HR Vice President with #SyscoPrairies shares, “We are deeply touched and humbled by the countless hours this team has dedicated to various community causes, with more than half of colleagues participating and contributing volunteer hours over the past year. We believe true success is measured by the positive impact we have on the lives around us. Each hour volunteered, every act of kindness, and all the dedication we’ve shown have created meaningful waves of change.” Congratulations, Sysco Winnipeg, and thank you for your continued leadership!
