Resilience, hope, human triumph: things we often celebrate through sport, but why not through building good financial habits? We teamed up with Wealthsimple and Base Design to create an OOH campaign that paired athletic imagery with real-life goals—reminding us that our financial wins can be just as deserving as a win in the field or court.
We produced four photorealistic environments, taking care to include imperfections and flourishes to differentiate from the video game look. Portraying our runner in motion and other environmental cues of human presence helped achieve a warm, near-anthropological vibe without feeling uncanny. All in a three-week timeline, involving multiple media placements across Canada.

To tease Figure's next-gen F.02. Tendril's objective was to visualize its first-of-its-kind engineering achievements through a sophisticated, artistic, and mysterious lens that would have been impossible to capture on camera.
Inspired by F.02’s human form factor, we started with the curiosity and bare-bones simplicity of a life drawing session to study its anatomy:
• how do we emphasize the precision + complexity of its components (actuators, joints, skeletal structure, hands and feet, and torso packaging)?
• how do we truthfully render its diverse range of custom-made exterior materials in a new, imaginative light?
Starting literally from the ground up, we let the elegance of F.02’s range of motion, joint + gear movements, and torque positioning tell the story.

Figure is a humanoid robotics company. Valued at $2.6 billion, it’s at the forefront of AI robotics innovation with investments from titans like Microsoft, Nvidia, OpenAI, and Jeff Bezos.
To build hype for the F.02, their second general purpose robot, Figure came to Tendril Studio to create teaser films that demonstrate the elegance of the F.02’s materials and movements, juxtaposed with the groundbreaking engineering beneath the surface.

This is what happens at Tendril when there's no brief. 🌱
The industry moves fast. Evolving trends can easily sweep us all along similar paths and leave us with the urge to go completely off-road every now and then.
Introducing the Seed program: crafted by our studio artists, purely for the love of creation. It's where we can cultivate an environment for the team's creativity to flourish and flow wherever we want it to go: never-seen mishmashes of different aesthetics, happy accidents turned into new techniques, and experimentation before perfecting execution.
Like improv, there are no rules. Just a "yes, and" mindset we're excited to share beyond Tendril, too. Stay tuned for updates if you also feel the occasional urge to go rogue ✨

Tendril created a series of interactive films for Deloitte to showcase their CypherSphere product, a service that offers protection against cyber threats.
The output was integrated into a series of interactive touchscreens for Deloitte at the RSA Conference.

What an amazing #RSAC! Thank you to everyone who stopped to check out our booth experience, partied with us at the Fillmore, and attended our panel on quantum. Stay up to date on CyberSphere™ below. https://deloi.tt/4aLu2io
Tendril created a series of interactive films for Deloitte to showcase their CypherSphere product, a service that offers protection against cyber threats. The experience puts you in the shoes of an individual who is experiencing a cyberattack, then walks you through the solutions and integrations that would resolve and proactively protect against future attacks. There were five scenario walkthroughs: from a simple phishing scam to a more complex multi-pronged approach.
Visually, the biggest challenge was making the “invisible” visible. Our visual language needed to be faithful to the complex mechanisms at work, while balancing design and UX best practices. The result was an impressive elevation of the product branding, intersected with animated and three-dimensional visual metaphors that guides the viewer from uncertainty to resolution.
The output was integrated into a series of interactive touchscreens for Deloitte at the RSA Conference. Its seamlessness and clarity made a lovely invitation for anyone to learn more about staying safe—perfect for a sector that’s as dense and lacking in universal literacy as cybersecurity.

Merging live-action footage with stunning CG, we brought to life the visionary collaboration of Daniel Arsham and Hublot for the Droplet, creating two main films for the campaign 💧 with our production partners denim + Director Norman Wong.
The first, a portrait film, featured Arsham’s voiceover into the journey behind the Droplet’s design (you can see it in our feed). This one is the product-focused film, showcasing the three unique modalities of the timepiece: wear it as a pocket watch, a pendant, or showcase it as a table clock.
The film is also an exploration of time’s transformative effect on materials, seamlessly transitioning through states of erosion, liquid, and solidity—a fitting metaphor for Arsham’s artistry 🌊
Our goal was to immerse art enthusiasts, watch collectors, and fans of Arsham in a dreamlike world, straddling the line between the real and the surreal.
To achieve this, we developed a unified visual vocabulary and a rich library of assets spanning the campaign: from aerial drone footage of Iceland’s natural landscapes and ice-caves to solarised and treated shots, still photography, Houdini simulations, photoreal product renders, and stylized ‘sketch’ visuals. Motion control technology allowed us to seamlessly integrated these elements, establishing a sharp, new surrealistic aesthetic that we used across both films, and in the immersive launch event.
Low-key lighting with sharp highlights and deep shadows was designed to accentuate contrast and emphasize the intricate details of the Droplet. Turquoise accents and mineral glass enrich the sapphire palette, adding a vivid splash of color.
We’re immensely proud of the world we created. It’s really exciting to feel like we’re pioneering a new era of surrealism and magical realism in brand world-building.
The project was shot using a variety of cameras and rigs, including Arri Alexa, Sony Venice, DJI drones, and Sony FX6 with motion control, job-arms and steadicam. Our CG toolkit consisted of a mix of C4D, Houdini, Nuke, AE, Premier Pro, and Baselight. Special props go out to the team at CYPHER, whose sound design and music brought this sensorial world together beautifully.

As part of the world-building for this exciting collaboration between Hublot and Daniel Arsham we created an immersive experience in the South Tanks at the Tate Modern in London.
It was within this space that The Arsham Droplet was presented to the public for the first time💧The build and mise-en-scène was designed to juxtapose permanence against the constant, organic transformation of materials and landscapes through time: ice becomes water, which crystalizes in sapphire and mineral glass.
This all translated the surrealistic environment of the films into a beautiful, immersive space for guests to explore.

The latest from Tendril Studio to introduce the Arsham Droplet, by Hublot and Daniel Arsham.
Renowned for its innovative spirit, Hublot has unveiled a groundbreaking collaboration with acclaimed contemporary artist Daniel Arsham. The result of this visionary partnership is the Arsham Droplet, a revolutionary timepiece that reimagines the classic pocket watch, blending antique form with futuristic materials and production methods.
For us the world-building challenge was to find new terrain in which the artistic perspective of Daniel Arsham met the singularity of Hublot's watchmaking. With both the film and the immersive experience, we wanted to invite art enthusiasts and watch collectors into a world that exists in this in-between. This project epitomizes the sophistication and boundary-pushing nature of our continued partnership with Hublot.
