Transmark is located in the heart of Southern Alberta, 3. Highway 4 runs adjacent to Transmark and is a part of the CANAMEX Corridor, directly connecting to Interstate 15 in Montana. The Transmark rail facility is serviced daily by Canadian Pacific Railroad. In 2001 Transmark began operations with 5 rail tracks {15,000 feet), a high-throughput dual lane 25,000 bushels per hour drag conveyer (train to truck) loading system, and a shuttle wagon. Transmark was originally built to handle large amounts of inbound commodities to supply the cattle feeding industry in Southern Alberta. As of 2022 Transmark can store up to 1,500 railcars utilizing 68 tracks (119,000 feet). The strategic location provides customers with a unit train staging and storage location with first class railcar repair shops directly on site. Transmark continues to grow and is currently developing 35 acres to provide top tier service to its customers.
