Today’s Million Mile Driver is Csaba Juhasz who we call CJ. Not only has CJ driven an incredible 2,341,135 miles he is also our longest-serving driver. Congratulations to expert driver Srjdan "Serge" Bukvic on his 3rd place win in the Tandem-tandem category at this weekend's Ontario Regional Truck Driving Competition. Serge competed against his peers at the Kitchener Aud in tests of their knowledge, attention to detail and driving skills. We're excited to cheer him again at the provincial championships in September. Congratulations Serge!

There's no better way to learn about trucking than climbing into a cab and getting on the road. TransPro's newest sales team members, Connor Zalan and Kyle Woods recently joined professional drivers to gain firsthand experience. Connor's day with 15-year veteran driver Doug was a chance to witness the skill and expertise needed to navigate the dense GTA traffic and persistent risks from personal vehicles. With friendly driver Jagandeep, Kyle admired the people skills and patience required when collaborating with shippers and consignees at the loading doors. From squeezing a big rig up crowded Yonge Street to finding solutions to loading problems, the TransPro drivers provided a full day of insights to help our business managers offer top transportation solutions and customer service. TransPro drivers were well prepared for this week's annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance International Roadcheck. During our recent driver meeting, Safety Director Mike Frolick reviewed the focus of this year's event, possession of controlled substances and alcohol and protection and anti-bleed back valves. Thanks to thorough training, expert maintenance, and careful pre-trip inspections, TransPro drivers and trucks are among the safest on the road.

Today, Pierre Poilievre, the Leader of the Official Opposition and Conservative Party of Canada, dropped by our Milton shop and took the time to meet our staff. During his visit, he shared his vision for Canada's future and lent a patient ear to our concerns about the misclassification of employees known as Driver Inc. Parm Gill, MBA, former MPP for Milton, also joined us.
