About us

Vet Alliance is Canada's largest network of independently owned veterinary practices. Our member hospitals have access to: • Discount and reward programs with Vet Alliance partner companies • High quality continuing education for all staff members We have negotiated partnerships with a wide variety of companies in the veterinary industry, including: • pharmaceutical • veterinary diet • equipment and instrument suppliers • compounding • merchant services • insurance • payroll services • pet insurance and more….. Vet Alliance member hospitals choose the partner companies they wish to purchase from, and earn superior discounts and rewards from these companies. The more partners they participate with, the better the return. We also coordinate an exceptional continuing education program. All staff have full access to all CE events. Each year we bring a variety of speakers to various locations across the country, and we host a series of webinars throughout the year. Event topics are a mixture of medical, business, customer service and communication talks. Vet Alliance is not a distributor, does not process orders and does not warehouse products. Members continue to purchase products from their current suppliers.

She’s excited to share some strategies with vet med leaders that can empower you, and ultimately your team members, to appreciate the nuances that come with conflict. Without change there is no change. It isn't often that we can truly celebrate a monumental shift in the animal health landscape, but today, Bill 171 (Enhancing Professional Care for Animals Act) became law in Ontario. Among the many incredible changes this will bring, is the union of Veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technicians as veterinary professionals under one framework. It is of benefit to every single veterinary team member, and animal owner, to see this legislation come to pass. It initiates changes that will have a significant impact on the wellbeing of animals across the province. Congratulations to all in pushing the boundaries and elevating the bar for what is possible. #celebratingsuccess #vetmed https://lnkd.in/eGVV33mW https://lnkd.in/e63tnmEb

What is accountability? When we “hold people accountable” it usually sounds disciplinary – but the reality is – accountability is something we ALL should take on in our work and attitude. If you are the type of person that takes your work seriously, and cares about the outcomes and your personal impact, then you are already taking personal accountability. What happens when your entire team comes together with that same, shared perspective? Creating a Culture of Accountability on a team is actually driven by some very simple steps. Senani Ratnayake BSc RVT, our National Director, Engagement and Practice Services, is ready to share the secret to how you can do this for yourselves in your own practices. You are five steps away from a team who motivates, supports and looks out for each other. Can you really afford not to attend? Join us, tomorrow! Vet Alliance Team Members can register through the May Noteworthy or June TEAM Session Newsletters. #VetAllianceEducation #BenefitsOfVAMembership #CEforaBetterMe
