Hi 👋 - My name is Alex.
I am an entrepreneur with a passion for confronting and taming complexity. I discovered a wonderful place to do this is at manufacturing facilities! From planning purchasing inventory, keeping track of inventory in the warehouse, traceability, enforcing production SOPs, costing products, to analyzing and presending data such as sales and production trends its such a cool space to play in! And I probably get to do more “how do they make X” factory tours than anyone – how cool 😎 and probably the best part of my job.
Anyways, we help manufacturers discover opportunities and solve a wide arrange of these problems with software, and clear away obstacles so that companies can grow with efficiency and quality.
We have a somewhat unique approach, in that our focus starts with the shop floor (rather than the accounting department). We want to get deep into the information that moves around the warehouse and production area – so we can enforce SOPs, track production efficiency and costs, make sure you know where your inventory is and that you have enough of it to run production, … the list is endless. Of course we like accounting too! Its just we think more attention needs to be paid to the nitty gritty that makes your business special.
To that point - every vertical, and in fact manufacturer is different. That’s one of my favorite parts of my job – I love discovering the unique complexity within each business and understanding how we can track and enforce that process. Equally important, we want to find the best ways to report this data to the team so they you can keep track of your performance, set meaningful goals, and make effective decisions!
Another thing – I like to keep it fun when possible. Never hesitate to show your wild and wacky side, its all part of keeping it interesting.
