I have been an Ambassador for the Fanshawe College through The Ambassador Platform since
November 2023.
This work requires me to represent the College online in order to help prospective students
make a more informed and confident choice about their educational options
I have had over 65 conversations with prospective students answering their questions across various topics about the Fanshawe College and my experiences.

On average, I was rated as ‘excellent’ by the prospective students I spoke to.
I produced 2 social media posts which have been used by the Fanshawe College in their
public communications;
This work has helped me to deploy the following skills:
Interpersonal and communication skills through the conversations I have had with prospective students as a representative of the College;
Customer service skills through the process of understanding the questions being asked and working to find the best support needed by the prospective student. This may include doing researching or working with the wider team of staff and other Ambassadors
Marketing, creative and social media skills through collaboratively working with the marketing department to create social media posts for the College;
Written communication skills as all the work I did as an Ambassador through The Ambassador Platform involved writing, some of which were public-facing
Organisation, planning and time management skills to be able to fit this additional work around my studies (meeting all deadlines)
Teamwork and professional skills were required to work collaboratively both with staff at
the College and other Ambassadors.
