Shinerama is Canada’s largest post-secondary fundraiser involving students at almost 60 university and college campuses across Canada, aimed at raising money for cystic fibrosis research.
The Shinerama committee hosts fundraising events throughout the year, but the largest event is at the end of Laurier Orientation Week – Shine Day. All incoming students and volunteers go into the Kitchener-Waterloo community and raise money.

5 Days for the Homeless is a campaign dedicated to students supporting youth at risk. We are dedicated to increasing awareness and abolishing the negative stigmas that those experiencing homelessness face each and every day. Our 2018 campaign is encouraging Wilfrid Laurier and surrounding communities to open doors for youth experiencing homelessness.
In addition to raising awareness, our campaign also fundraises donations that go towards two local shelters, ONERoof and Argus Residence…5 Days for the Homeless is a campaign dedicated to students supporting youth at risk. We are dedicated to increasing awareness and abolishing the negative stigmas that those experiencing homelessness face each and every day. Our 2018 campaign is encouraging Wilfrid Laurier and surrounding communities to open doors for youth experiencing homelessness.
In addition to raising awareness, our campaign also fundraises donations that go towards two local shelters, ONERoof and Argus Residence for Young People. These shelters have multi-dimensional rehabilitation programs that focus on mental health, employment, adequate housing and give individuals an opportunity to break the cycle of experiencing homelessness.

The Program focuses on the restoration, restoring and preserving corals reefs in a socially aware way. Using Business knowledge and social awarness within our team to implement the most successful and efficient ideas for long term growth of these corals.
