About

I help business owners build a more profitable business that can work without them.

If you're like my clients, you've already done a lot of things right. Now you want to reach the next level of entrepreneurial success. You know you'll get there on your own eventually, but would rather get on the fast track to scale.

I work with owners who know they will want to step back or retire from the business they've built, but need a strategy to ensure that the years they've spent building it up aren't wasted when they exit the business.

I am passionate about helping business owners set ambitious targets... and then building a realistic plan for how to achieve them.

These are the kind of people you would love to have on your team. In many ways, they already are. We put out a call for nominations in mid-2015 for 40<40. These are the kind of people you would love to have on your team. In many ways, they already are. We put out a call for nominations in mid-2015 for 40<40. This is not a competition; we were not seeking candidates with the most academic credentials or business accomplishments. Instead, we sought a broad representation of the many geospatial fields that our publication covers: those who are doing significant work, often un-heralded, in positions that contribute to the current and future state of geospatial sciences, professions, and industries. This includes those who develop, service, and support the seemingly magic solutions you employ every day: people who make your geoworld tick.

A question arose among our selection team: “What qualities do these people have in common?”

What became obvious is that they are all focused first on getting the job done, but they also have a strong desire to move the geospatial ball forward—way forward. All are well aware that they stand on the shoulders of predecessors and benefit from prior innovation. However, free from a lot of the legacy bounds, these fine young folks are not resting. They’re rapidly moving the goalposts far past the horizon. Something profound I gathered from getting to know those profiled is that they could very easily work together on a large multi-disciplinary geospatial team because they all value ego less than innovation and hard work.
