    Oversaw projects to re-imagine electronic service delivery to Delta residents using contemporary digital channels and re-engineered business processes to leverage existing enterprise resource planning software. Keystone work was development of the TalkDelta mobile platform for city services, including capacity for citizen service requests, election poll location, and emergency push notification.

    Darin is leading efforts to create a city-owned fibre optic network for the Corporation of Delta. This work involves close cooperation with other levels of government, contractors, and city staff. In 2014 the project achieved placement of 30 kilometres of fibre optic cable, providing a backbone gateway connecting Delta's three communities (North Delta, Ladner, Tsawwassen). DeltaNET will become fully operational in 2015, linking the municipality end to end and providing the infrastructure…

    The MISA BC Spirit of Innovation Award recognizes the work Darin did organising and leading the largest municipal software requirements and procurement collaboration in Canadian history. The PRMS project included over twenty-five municipalities, representing one third the population of British Columbia.

    Darin led development and implementation of the Department's first Learning Mangagement System, the Training Information System (TIS). This effort included working with stakeholders and managing a software development team over a period of several years.
