Experienced Group Insurance Specialist that works to reduce liability and maintain rate stability for successful small and mid-sized Ontario businesses looking to protect and provide quality benefits to their staff.

By working with, and consulting to, Employee Benefit Specialists, Group Insurance Brokers, Group Insurance Companies, Third Party Administrators(TPA's), Pharmaceutical Companies, industry panels and associations, as well as provincial health providers, I have acquired a interesting cross industry perspective that few possess. This experience means that I can help you in ways that many others can not.

    Starting with funding and preparing a few meals at the Evergreen Centre for youth, this morphed into volunteer time in the employment centre. In this role, I helped youth build resumes, practice interviewing and find employment. Presenting seminars on communication skills and the famous "I am NOT a cop" presentation on how your early job experience (like McDonald's or Tim's) sets you up for future success.

    Starting with funding and preparing a few meals at the Evergreen Centre for youth, this morphed into volunteer time in the employment centre. In this role, I helped youth build resumes, practice interviewing and find employment.     As the years progressed, we reached out to clients and suppliers to fund, cook and serve well over 100 meals a year, then shared this with the program coordinator to carry on the events.

    I was introduced to HATN in 2008, but was slow to get involved. Thanks to Cathy's persistence, we started to get involved in fundraising events like the 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021 (virtual) Great Gourmet Give. Joanne visited The Gambia in February 2020 (just before the pandemic) to build the Women's Market Garden and drill a well fo help water it. She came home saying I had to come and help next time. the pandemic slowed that down, but we were back in November 2022 to build a pilot irrigation…

We also surveyed the site for our next project, a medical centre for Jammeh Kabbeh and the other local villages. We've only just begun our work.
