About
David Eisnor is both an entrepreneur and he has been supporting entrepreneurship in Atlantic Canada for over 20 years!
His professional experience includes working with hundreds of entrepreneurs supporting them with their startup and growth, to sales and Business Development and working within Diversity Equity and Inclusion. His entrepreneurial experience is in the areas of Property Management and Development, Tourism and Farming.
David has over twenty years of experience supporting entrepreneurs with business start-up through his experience working with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED), the Entrepreneurs' Forum, and most recently in his role at Futurpreneur Canada.
David has demonstrated his passion for entrepreneurship by successfully opening and running the Halifax Backpackers Hostel. In 2004 he and his business partner were named Young Entrepreneurs of the year with the Business Development Bank of Canada, and the Best Business Award for Community Involvement with Futurpreneur. In 2014 he embarked on a new venture in farming. He set up a Haskap Berry Orchard and through a community co-op produced value added products and delivered an experience through Agri-tourism. David has also been a Property Manager and Developer since 2008.
In his free time, he enjoys an active life including travel, spending time on the farm, volunteering with community organizations and spending quality time with family and friends.
David holds a Business Degree from Acadia University and a Leadership Certificate from Dalhousie University.
