As Director of Quarry's Productivity Support Team (PST), I lead a team that oversees all the technology that supports the efficiency, productivity and effectiveness of the team at Quarry Integrated Communications, a marketing firm based in St.Jacobs, Ontario, Canada. Technology responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting and staffing along with managing vendor relationships and leading a team responsible for network and system infrastructure, telephony, mobility and security. My team supports a technology enhanced Quarry staff who work on a diverse set of technology platforms from geographical areas across North America.
As part of the Operations Team, I play a key role in leading our organization's strategy and administration of on premise and remote working environments to help ensure maximum productivity.
For Quarry clients, my team manages hosting and system administration relationships, ensuring clients get reliable and dependable web services. We actively advise and provide services for clients in relation to hosting infrastructure, setup, monitoring, security, domain registration, DNS provision, SSL certificates, redundancy, backup and disaster recovery.
