I am one of three pioneering graduates of the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). I have spearheaded the development and implementation of comprehensive information security programs, emphasizing strategic leadership in cybersecurity and risk management. In addition to establishing effective governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, I have played a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives. My proactive approach in managing security operations and incident response has protected critical information assets and enhanced organizational security awareness, allowing boards to efficiently navigate the complexities of information security.
With over 14 years of professional experience in technology, coupled with a longstanding personal passion for the field, I have successfully led teams and projects across multiple IT disciplines. My expertise spans IT Operations, Application Security, and Information Security. I have worked in diverse sectors including SaaS operations, application security, data networking, as well as web, database, and data center operations, servicing a range of clients from small enterprises to Fortune 100 companies.
