How can you monitor and evaluate software projects with a customer-centric approach?
To me that's not the right question. A better question is one that inspiring to everyone. How might we put the customer at the centre of every step of every software project so that every one becomes a raving fan? Then, bring your team, and some customers together and ask them some generative questions: Think of a time you had a customer experience that was so exceptional it deepened your connection to the brand, company or organization? What happened and what made it so great? What are 2-3 things we're already doing well when it comes to supporting our customers that we want to keep doing or do more of? You'll be absolutely amazed at what they come up with!

How can you use active listening to support a peer experiencing grief?
Emotional Validation is the most effective tool I have ever used to help someone feel seen heard and understood. As someone who lost a wife to suicide and a daughter to a car accident I can attest to how powerful it can be. We've actually developed a tool called the LEAD Model for emotional validation to help people do this effectively. Label, Explore, Accept and then Decide. A few questions you can ask as well are: What's this experience been like for you? What do you want me to understand about what you're thinking and how you're feeling right now?
