With a strategic focus on stakeholder engagement and operations innovation, my tenure as Executive Vice President at the Seaway has been marked by proactive leadership in external relations. Our team has successfully navigated complex stakeholder landscapes, enhancing the Seaway's reputation and operational excellence.

At the core of our mission lies the commitment to sustainability and strategic planning, leveraging my expertise in these areas to further the Seaway's environmental, social, and economic goals. Partnering with the Great Lakes Governors and the Canadian Coast Guard, we've pioneered advancements in marine services that underscore our dedication to community and industry progress.

    Abstract

The St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation and the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (U.S.), together with the Canadian Hydrographic Service and industry, have developed a dynamic Under Keel Clearance information system for use in the Seaway called the Draught Information System. This has been standardized through a public process and was used in 2015 by over 20% of vessels with an increase in safe ty and a potential for an increase in load carrying capacity under suitable conditions. This system integrates high resolution bathymetry, water level information, AIS and other factors such as ship dynamics to display real-time information.
