I am a clean technology generalist with more than 15 years experience working to catalyse utilization of technology innovations across diverse economic sectors and jurisdictions. My passion is discovering exciting ideas and working to get them implemented.
Drawing upon my experience working with industry, academia, non-profits and government I have honed my core strengths:
*I believe in evidence based action. Solid, defensible, research is one of my key skills- I dig deep and have worked both to compile the existing research of others as well as build pioneering data sets of my own.
*Having a general knowledge on a diversity of industries means I can go from problem to solution faster. Not only does being a generalist give me a leg up on learning curves but it also allows me to break down silos and creatively apply solutions from one sector in another. Whether your challenge relates to innovations in the construction sector, electric utilities, urban planning, or something else, there is a good chance I have experience that I will be able to leverage.
*I am a people person. When I don’t know the answer I call someone I know who does. Being able to leverage my ever growing network of technology innovators is one of my central competencies. I am good at collecting the perspectives of others before I come to my own conclusion. My preference is to share information whenever possible. There are few things more satisfying for me than introducing two people that I see as natural collaborators.
*I enjoy compiling and processing data and am thrilled when I get to see trends emerge or outliers surface.
*I have more ideas than I know what to do with and am glad to share them. Whether you need some feedback on your logo, ideas for diversifying your business or thoughts on how to mitigate technology risk, I am happy to put my imagination to work.
