About
As the CEO of Mendability, my dream is to bring sensory enrichment to as many people as possible, starting with children who seem to struggle, who don't feel comfortable, who can't sleep, for whom the world is not a peaceful place to live.
Sensory enrichment is a novel, evidence-based and clinically proven approach that engages the mechanisms of brain plasticity to boost development. We can target brain functions that need it, but we can also just help the brain generally get stronger and more resilient.
I have seen the impact sensory enrichment therapy has had in bringing joy and happiness into the lives of children and their families.
With almost 20 years of experience in the field of sensory enrichment, I have successfully raised $4M, and focused on making sensory enrichment as accessible as possible so that everyone can do it. I started my career in Graphic Design, but my mother needed help to manage her private clinic. I have not looked back. It's been great to keep doing what I love, which is to create beautiful things and leave the world better than I found it in my own way.
I am grateful I was able to leverage my skills in social media, content marketing, design, and software user interface to create and promote an online platform that offers sensory enrichment to over 4,000 families and 2,000 health professionals in over 60 countries. I am committed to advancing the research, and technology to support the practice of sensory enrichment therapy in homes and wherever it can help.
Ultimately, this is what it's about for me: "A happier brain makes for a better world."

What are some breathing techniques to reduce stress during meditation?
Consider ambient odors during breathing practices. Pleasant scents stimulate your brain’s dopamine receptors. Dopamine is like a natural mood booster that your brain releases when you breathe deeply and calmly, but also when you breathe in a nice smell. Dopamine boosts benefit mood, motivation, focus, pleasure, stress reduction, memory, creativity, and relationships.

How can you monitor your stress levels and know when to take a break?
Serotonin is the hormone that your brain uses to cope with stress. The two quickest and easiest ways to get a quick Serotonin boost are through art and music. Processing beauty and multiple instruments playing together induces a release of Serotonin. You will know it worked when you feel a rush of calm come over you. The beauty of this is that, the more you do it, the more your brain recruits additional cells and receptors to regulate its Serotonin levels, and the more resilient your brain becomes. This is one way you can help someone struggling with regulating their mood. You can also get the same effects through gentle touch, like a back tickle or any pleasant tactile experience that would stimulate the texture receptors in your skin.

SPARK
92% of children with autism in the world cannot access therapies and specialized services. For example, there are 40,000 BCBAs in the world. 33,000 of them are in the US. What about the rest of the world? If we can put Mendability in your favourite chat app on your phone, we can advise and coach you and we can also prescribe custom sensory enrichment programs for your child.
