I have been fortunate to have experience the non profit industry from both sides of the fence; both as a non-profit professional and as a consultant/Project Manager for organizations across North America. As a non profit operational consultant/project manager I focus on operational efficiency, database implementations and data integration.
Organizations understand that focusing on business processes is a key element of success.
In 2010, I was the recipient of the Be Revolutionary Award from Blackbaud. This award is given to an Individual who is an out of the box thinker; tirelessly working in the best interest of the client.

How can you predict and prevent consulting clients from leaving?
Clearly articulating project goals and revisiting these goals is important. Especially if there has been client turnover or new stakeholders added to the project. As with any project keeping the lines of communication open is critical. As the owner, I am not involved in all projects but I do like to connect with sponsors to ensure everyone is on the same page.
