The 3M National Student Fellowship honours up to ten full-time students at Canadian post-secondary institutions who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their lives, at their post-secondary institution. These students embrace a vision of education that enhances their academic experience and beyond.

HackUST is Asia's largest university hackathon, attracting over 80 teams from across the world. Our team built Speakzy, "the digital public speaking coach that gives instant feedback to young working professionals looking to improve their speaking skills." Essentially the Grammarly for public speaking. Our app and presentation landed us first place in the hackathon.

Awarded to students in BC studying abroad who have clearly demonstrated significant community and/or school involvement and academic achievement, supported by two references submitted with the application.

-Delivered a 2 page policy briefing and 10 minute presentation on how to compensate the losers from free trade
-Worked successfully with an amazing team playing off each others strengths
-Judged by a expert panel including former federal cabinet ministers

Each year the Faculty of Social Sciences honours and recognizes excellent students who are making a difference in the world through the Rising Stars award.

-Given 90 seconds to pitch a business concept to a panel of judges
-Awards given to top five pitches (no placements among five)
-Placed top five out of over twenty pitches

Awarded to academically outstanding entering and continuing students beginning their 2nd year in the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business.

Submitted a one page business plan, two minute video, and preformed a five minute pitch live to a panel of judges for a mock café start-up Idea's Café.

Placed first against over 8 teams deconstructing and presenting a business case that used a real company problem. Our team of three was given two hours to prepare recommendations for the Big Wheel Burger's plan to open a new location.

Awarded to top academic performer in each high school.

Prestigious award given to students that maintain a high academic average for grade 11 and 12 courses.

Awarded to a new commerce student who shows prior excellence in business and academics.

Student must maintain an A average for every semester in their high school career.
