Thrown into the position of team lead in the midst of crunch time, and being pregnant in the same time, she handled it like a pro. It was so easy to communicate with her even though she was always busy. She has an eagle eye for animation and perseveres for quality in time no matter the work load. About
After graduating with a Fine Arts degree from Concordia University in Film Animation, I entered the workforce as a freelance animator and a motion control camera assistant. In this time I had some amazing opportunities to work on some commercials and feature films, but I was still eager to pursue a full time career in animation.
Shortly after, I landed a job as a Stop Motion Animator at Cuppa Coffee Animation, Canada’s largest stop motion studio in Toronto, Ontario. At Cuppa Coffee I had the opportunity to work on many great shows such as the award nominated Warner Brother’s production of A Miser Brother’s Christmas and MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch. After Cuppa Coffee I entered the 3D animation world at Guru Studio, where I worked on the award winning show the Backyardigans for Nickelodeon Jr.
I relocated to Vancouver in 2008 and worked at Nerd Corps Studios on their League of Super Evil animated television series. In the mean time the animation industry in Vancouver was booming. Sony Imageworks opened a studio in the heart of downtown and not long after I landed a job on their crew for the Smurfs feature. This first feature film experience has been incredible and I am looking forward to many more!
