    The video game I co-created for PC and Xbox One with John Paul Welsh. Combining design and development to create the game we always wanted to play. Shwip is a twin stick shooter that pits you against an onslaught of geometric foes. Evade, outlast and play with style as you literally render your enemies into pixels with an arsenal of devastating weapons and abilities. Dominate online leaderboards and showcase your skills.

    Led the design of this massive project from inception to launch. Worked with key business lines to bring their visions to fruition through design workshops and interactive interview sessions with customers.

  • Global Go iOS App

    Led the creative direction and design for GlobalTV's new and improved iOS app. Design improvements include an ever-present navigation for better user flow, standardized font sizing and placement, bold and bright imagery reminiscent of GlobalTV content, increase in viewable videos on first load, standardized layout for schedule and finally, a new and improved live tv section that offers insight to what is coming up next.

  • GlobalTV.com Redesign

    Led the overall art direction and design for GlobalTV.com. I worked alongside product owners, content, front and back-end development, QA and analytics to bring Shaw Media's largest online property into the modern age. Utilizing a common platform and a mobile-first design, users can now view content from anywhere regardless of device. GlobalTV.com is Canada's first broadcaster to have a fully responsive site.

  • Days of Remembrance

    -

    Worked together with the History.ca content team to come up with a rich looking WWII experience geared towards gaining video views. I researched WWII films, photos and video footage and put it all together. Northpoint provided the backend and our dev team assembled the front-end.

  • Canadian Tire iPad App

    -

    Canadian Tire requested their first iPad app to look like no other in the Canadian Marketplace. Working with Simplygood Technologies, I art directed and designed the look and feel of the app, so that users would feel at home. Working with a UX designer, we went through frameworks and ironed out usability issues. Since it's launch, the app has received warm reviews and will be added to Canadian Tire's tv marketing campaigns soon.

  • Slice.ca Blog Redesign

    -

    We saw an opportunity to increase traffic and visitors to the interaction side of slice.ca. The old blogs did not give the users a way to interact the way intended so a redesign of both the front and back end of the website was in order. I met with stakeholders and began initial designs to improve the visitor flow of the website.

    Since the launch, Slice has seen a drastic improvement in visitors and interaction.

  • ETCanada.com Redesign

    -

    Art directed and designed the new assets for Canada's most popular entertainment television show. Phase one of the project includes a refresh of the homepage, along with a brand new design for the latest news section. Phase 2 will incorporate an entire site wide redesign and will come in the next few months.

    Since the refresh, ETCanada has seen a 50% increase in visitors.
