About

I founded MacKay CEO Forums in 2005 because it is lonely at the top. Our peer support groups provide a confidential learning opportunity where CEOs, executives and business owners meet to solve their most pressing challenges, as well as maximize their best opportunities. Our members experience an ROI of 708% through increased profit, employee retention and customer satisfaction, as measured by the ROI Institute Canada in 2022.

As a B Corp since 2018, we believe in business as a force for good. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, so our peer support groups reflect this mandate. These confidential peer group meetings are facilitated by our 60+ Forum Chairs. They are all modern trusted advisors supporting today’s business leaders across Canada and around the world. They help business leaders show up as the best version of themselves each and every day.

Forum Chairs have a unique opportunity to build exclusive relationships and share their thought leadership with MacKay’s CEO and executive members. Within one year of joining our organization, they become certified as Forum Chairs based on the learnings in a book I co-authored called the Modern Trusted Advisor. They also join a community of Forum Chair peers which consists of successful coaches and consultants, as well as retired CEOs and executives.

Our Platinum, National and Innovator Partners have a unique opportunity to build exclusive relationships and provide thought leadership to our community. They are all members of Mackay CEO Forums and they are referral partners for each other.

Active in my community, I am also a board member the Genwell Project and I’m on the Rick Hansen Foundation Campaign Cabinet. In addition, I am a volunteer co-chair for Canada`s Great Kitchen Party Vancouver committee.

I hold a B. Math and Master’s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo and a Ph.D. in Business from Canterbury University in New Zealand. I am the co-author of two books with Alan Weiss: The Modern Trusted Advisor: Best Practices for High Value Executive Consultation and The Talent Advantage: How to Attract and Retain the Best and the Brightest. Both books are available through Amazon.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member, partner or Forum Chair with MacKay CEO Forums , please reach out to [email protected] or visit our website at mackayceoforums.com.

For more than 80 years, Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC (BGC) have been giving children and youth a place to belong during the critical out-of-school hours, where with the help and guidance of highly trained staff and volunteers, they discover who they are, that they matter, what they are capable of, and that they have promising futures. Annually, BGC serves approximately 500 youth.

Social distancing and social isolation are what we all have to do right now. But for youth, it holds significant risk for their development and their futures. Research shows that, compared to adults, youth are more vulnerable to the emotional impact of traumatic events that disrupt their daily lives. It is also true that 75% of mental health issues first begin to emerge during adolescence, when youth aren’t yet able to distinguish or differentiate what is an emerging mental health issue versus situational stress or anxiety. Adolescence is a critical period in the development of a youth’s identity, self-confidence, and relationship skills, ultimately influencing their future success.

During COVID-19, the required restrictions have meant that youth have been separated from peers and mentors, and from their learning environments. Meanwhile, the online world (including social media channels) serves as both their library, and playground.

As a CEO, business and community leader, you have the unique ability to use philanthropy to help. Please consider joining Nancy MacKay in ensuring that today’s youth are not lost in COVID-19.

At MacKay CEO Forums, we continually help CEOs achieve time mastery. We do this principally
through peer learning exchange in our CEO forums. Learning from the mistakes and successes
of fellow CEOs who have “been there and done that before” saves our members valuable time
and helps them raise their game.

We also practice high impact strategies, such as strength-based leadership and mental toughness. These tools, together with peer learning, can have an incredible impact on CEO achievement and happiness. I see it, and live it, every day.

It is my pleasure to share our CEO-tested time mastery strategies with you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or would like help with your own time mastery journey.
