About
An experienced technology leader helping startups solve tough strategic and operational problems that cut across business and technology. I have built and led teams across geographies to tackle problems in an industry that was extremely dynamic and moving up the technology S-curve. We understood the problem set deeply and stayed on top an evolving technology landscape while adapting to business models and making numerous pivots - an endeavor that took a fair bit of persistence and maturity in approach.
At Quickplay, as a founding member of the Product Management team I successfully managed a cross-functional team (consisting of engineering, operations, sales, marketing, finance, and legal) that helped scale the technology and business model for the world’s first cloud based global enterprise video platform. Quickplay was acquired by AT&T in 2016 to help accelerate their Next Generation video strategy.
At Rubikloud, I was responsible for Business Development and Go-To-Market functions globally. I work closely with our channel and technology partners to uncover new opportunities, with engineering teams to create AI solution packages, and with executives to develop business models that enable Rubikloud, our customers, and partners to jointly win in the market.
Currently (back at Quickplay), I'm responsible for driving the overall product innovation agenda along with defining the strategy and roadmap for products for the OTT sports/gaming verticals with a special focus on personalization, engagement & monetization leveraging AI/ML.

What do you do if your strategic decision making lacks data and analytics?
The Minimum Viable Product (MVP) strategy, commonly used in software development, should also be adopted here. Make decisions incrementally and learn from them as quickly as possible. While this approach may not always be applicable (for instance, when data collection takes a long time), in most situations, it allows you to establish a feedback loop that provides sufficient data to fine-tune your decisions.

What do you do if your Business Intelligence (BI) data is too complex to communicate effectively?
Tailoring the presentation of data to suit specific audiences is crucial in business intelligence. It's often beneficial to design distinct dashboards or visualizations for varied stakeholders like business, product, or operations teams. Each group has unique needs and perspectives, and interactive tools enhance their ability to engage with and derive insights from the data. The choice of visualization tools can take a back seat as long as the data integrity is maintained; consistency in your data source remains paramount. As organizations progress on their BI maturity curve, it's a good strategy to start incorporating predictive analytics and actionable insights into your visualizations.
