“Neil and I worked together as peers for three years at Banff Centre when he was Vice President, Development and I was Vice President, Administration and CFO. It was a pleasure working with Neil, so I was sad to see him leave. He is a mission/vision driven strategic thinker and proven fundraiser, and he develops excellent relationships with key staff, donors, and other external stakeholders. Neil's approach with Banff Centre's Executive team and staff was very much collaborative, focusing on all relevant implications of decisions and opportunities. Neil also has strong financial acumen, and his legal training enhances his attention to detail and ability to negotiate successful outcomes. Neil was a respected leader at Banff Centre and was always thoughtful in his approach and analysis. He had an exceptional understanding of Banff Centre's purpose and was always eloquent and passionate in this regard when communicating with donors and key stakeholders. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Neil again. He would be an excellent leader and addition to any Executive team in the not-for-profit sector. ”
