See publicationIn this update, I’ll discuss an approach-type that’s been somewhat maligned in some quarters of the aviation industry. In particular, a recent document by IFALPA – the International Federation of Air Line Pilots, was quite negative. I’m talking about RNAV Visual approach procedures.
I would like to set the record straight regarding this category of approach, one that’s proven to be a very safe and effective at organizations and airlines I’m involved with each day.
