My favorite places to be: in a room interacting with Individuals from diverse backgrounds, in a room working on game changing ideas with bright minds, in my Pilates studio working out, in an airport (I love traveling), at home playing with my kids.
Curious to learn and better understand how to tackle transformative initiatives and prepare for future financial services trends and priorities. Areas of interest include; FinTech, disruptive technologies, AI, machine learning, transformative innovations and blockchain.

How do you manage the trade-offs and risks of pursuing synergies versus maintaining business continuity?
Having the right leadership team is key to ensure a successful integration. It's important to identify the mix of key stills and experience needed for the integration and then identify individuals that have complimentary profiles. One element not to neglect is ensuring that everyone involved is on-board, and share the same vision of the newly merged business. In my experience, leading an integration team can be a great way to stretch a talented young professional, who shows great leadership potential. As long as they are paired with more experienced mentors to help them navigate through the more challenging aspects of the integration. Something to consider depending on the size, complexity and timeline of the integration.
