Sam is the President and Managing Director at Wilson M. Beck Insurance Services (Alberta) Inc. He offers 20 years of experience in arranging Commercial Insurance, Surety Facilities, Risk Management Programs and Strategies for his commercial clients. Sam specializes in delivering customized insurance solutions to Mid to large sized, family owned businesses, Multi National Hospitality Chains, Earthmoving and Civil Underground Contractors, Land Developers and Building Contractors as well as Sub Trade Contractors and Non Profit Associations. He offers advice on all facets/coverage’s of commercial insurance and rigorously seeks to reduce the overall total cost of risk using his years of experience in business, aggressive negotiating skills and knowledge about making their company more attractive to insurers.
Sam has amazing staff that help him make sure that when we get clients, we work very hard to keep those clients for many years by servicing them like no other with a very simple service Moto “What Ever It Takes”. Sam has a very strong belief in training, coaching and mentoring but does not micromanage. Micromanagement suffocates, demoralizes and kills creativity. I have seen too many employees become disheartened, stop caring, and just go through the motions until they find another job. A leaders job is to provide guidance and support, It is not monitoring an employee's every movement.
