“I recently had Scott remotely join an Executive MBA capstone class I teach in Colorado. We were going through the Play On! case study published by the Ivey School of Business. Scott joins the conversation mid way and surprises the students who had been discussing his life and experiences founding his business. When the decision comes up as to whether Scott should go back to Play On! after the NHL lockout, I ask the student what they would recommend. He then joins virtually (and in this case heard some of the conversation) and then fills them in on his business decision and what happened, including its success. The students loved the experience--one of them described it as the best thing that has happened in his EMBA (which is pretty impressive considering they are towards the end of a program that also included an international study trip). So wise and successful, but yet so humble and giving. I'd highly recommend Scott. He is a great mentor and leader for others. Congrats, Scott on having such an impact!”
