    Volunteer at World Literacy Canada, developing their Digital Media Strategy. Established their Google for Non Profits Adwords account and developed a Social Media marketing plan, including directing the creation and launch of their new website www.worldlit.ca.
    Initiated their Google Analytics website tracking and drove the use of data to inform decisions as part of the organisation's culture.

    The IPAC/Deloitte Public Sector Leadership Awards program recognizes organizations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership to improve Canada through advancements in public policy and management.

    TeachOntario is an online platform that leverages new digital technologies to provide Ontario educators with a one-stop space to connect, share, learn and collaborate. TVO created this digital platform in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Education and the Ontario Teachers Federation. It is used by teachers and educators from all over Canada to discuss issues, offer insights, explore new ideas, improve lesson plans and co-create new resources. TeachOntario has grown from 15 educators in 2014’s beta test to more than 2,300 today. This first-of-its-kind platform is now home to nearly 90 teacher-driven collaborative working groups on a variety of subjects. These include coding in the classroom, math problems, cyber-bullying and, gamified learning. www.teachontario.ca.

    Role:
    • Identified the IPAC/Deloitte Public Sector Leadership Award program as an opportunity to showcase TeachOntario.
    • Collaborated with the digital education team to deliver the competition entry.
    • Presented to the panel of 7 judges on the role of data analytics in the development and management of the platform.
    • The presenting team comprised, the VPs of Digital Education, Strategy, Marketing & Communications, an official from the Ministry of Education, a lead educator on the platform and myself.
