About

As the Director of Sales at Xplor Recreation, I am responsible for leading a group of highly-motivated, exceptionally bright, and talented individuals across the sales, solutions engineering, proposal-writing, and BDR teams. My leadership ethos revolves around empowering them to exceed targets, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and uphold integrity in all endeavours.

Experience has taught me that fostering openness, accountability, and optimism forms the cornerstone of any high-performing team. I seek team members who share these values and bring their unique flair to the sales process.

I thrive on a culture of continuous learning and teaching, where knowledge flows freely among colleagues. It's a privilege to both learn from others and impart wisdom to those eager to grow.

  • Chicago Park District adopts ACTIVE Recreation Management Software

I led the initiative to bring one of North America's largest municipal park managers on board with ACTIVE. The process started with outbound champion-building, constant communication with C-level stakeholders which matured into a competitive RFP opportunity.

I led the initiative to bring one of North America's largest municipal park managers on board with ACTIVE. The process started with outbound champion-building, constant communication with C-level stakeholders which matured into a competitive RFP opportunity.

I interviewed over 10 MBE/WBE's to partner on the bid and chose Clarity Partners to prime the Response with us. After a lengthy evaluation of over 8 competitors, we were selected as the preferred vendor and began an 8 month implementation cycle.

A typical use case that we were asked to meet was for their busy Winter and Summer Registration sessions where they experienced up to 8,000 transactions per second. Through exhaustive user acceptance testing, scaling, and load management, we were successful and contributed to a great customer experience for residents of the Chicagoland area.

Despite a tough contract negotiation, a delayed go-live, and other challenges related to scaling the technology for demand, Chicago Park District is a happy customer to this day.

This demonstrates the professionalism, relationship-building, and trust I foster with all of my customers.
