Hello! I'm a transformational health promotion specialist with over five years of experience designing and implementing wellness programs in high-stress public service environments. Holding a Master of Science in Health Promotion from Maryland University of Integrative Health, I am dedicated to enhancing staff resilience, engagement, and well-being within diverse organizational settings.
In my role as a consultant and health promotion specialist at Rising Tide Integrative Health Promotion, I develop and deliver evidence-based, culturally sensitive health programs tailored to high-stress workplaces. One of my proudest achievements is assisting with the development of the Kelowna Regional RCMP's comprehensive wellness strategy and facilitating the growth of seven Peer Critical Incident Stress Management Support teams supporting 44 detachments throughout the Southeast District.
As an ICISF-approved instructor, I have a 100% facilitator satisfaction rating and specialize in Assisting Individuals in Crisis, Group Crisis Intervention, and Psychological Body Armor. My work with the RCMP includes providing psychosocial support during and after critical incidents, enhancing the well-being of officers, 911 operators, and civilian employees.
Additionally, I serve as an RCMP Victim Services Case Manager, where I offer trauma-informed crisis response and emotional support to victims and witnesses of crime. My efforts were recognized with an Officer Commendation for my response to the 2021 Kelowna crane collapse.
Combining my expertise in health promotion with strong leadership and project management skills, I create innovative programs that drive positive health behavior change. I am now seeking new opportunities to leverage my skills in health promotion, crisis response, and holistic wellness.
