An experienced technical Cyber Security expert and former programmer, Windows and Linux sys admin with experience in networking and cloud. Dellivered hands-on training using simulation exercises for over 2,000 people at conferences and organizations such as the Canadian Police College, CGI, Bank of Canada, Rogers Communications, others...

Recently retired as Team Lead, Vulnerability Assessments for Bank of Canada, defending our national financial infrastructure.

Cyber*Sci is where students from Halifax, Saint John, Fredericton, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver compete to win fully-paid Intern positions in Cyber. Dozens of students placed so far, in major companies and govt. departments.

Also, the winning teams from each region compete in our national finals, and top students there go on to represent Canada at the European, and the World finals each year.

Certifications and Qualifications, Past and Present include CISSP, CEH, GWAPT, MBA, Security Clearances.

Fluent English and French, some Spanish.

    SANS "Challenge Coin" recipient for being a proud member of the winning team on Day-6 of the GWAPT course. Acknowledged as one of the important contributors on the team.

  • Winning Team - Hackfest Cyber Challenge - FireWatch Team

    -

    Team competition to defend simulated companies’ infrastructure, while capturing the “flags” stored on other side. I was proud to manage the UNIX group of the FireWatch team as we outmatched the opposition, despite their far superior skills and training. (Used strategy, skill, and cunning … plus a bit of luck when the opposition totally pwned our router – but then managed to lock themselves out of our network.) All good fun. And $2,000 in prizes to share.
