Of all the crazy things I could do, I launched a new career at the age of 40 in a city where I only knew a handful of people. What was I thinking?

I joined the real estate world in July 2010 and haven’t looked back since; I knew from day one that this was going to be the career for me. Stay Humble. Hustle Hard. This was my life motto and real estate was going to be no different.

Over the span of my career, I was able to set and meet several milestones that would place me apart from most agents.

2012: I launched my Facebook business and blog. With continuous blogging on relevant topics home buyers & sellers were searching for, I quickly shot up the ranks within the agents of Halifax.

2014: Not only did The Pike Group evolve, but we were also the first agents to change the course of marketing for Halifax. We began the introduction of walk-thru videos for our sellers. Which as you can attest, is now the norm for most agents here in the city.

2017: Fast forward, while speaking internationally to 6,000 agents about the merits of social media advertising, I found myself being introduced to the head of Facebook Messenger in California who granted us the use of Messenger on our website. We were the first agents EVER in the world to have this application. It truly was an honor.

2018 – 2019: This year allowed us the opportunity to engage with Artificial Intelligence not only for branding purposes but to get maximum social exposure for our seller’s listings.
We have won several accolades over the years, from Atlantic Canada’s Top Team to Nationally ranking at 1% within Royal LePage Canada. Since 2014 I have been one of Metro’s TOP 3 ranking agents and have been featured in Top Agent Magazine.
