Erwin is the Chief of Technology Transformation at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), where he leads the technology workstream for Project Horizon, a campus redevelopment plan to build an inspired hospital of the future and transform how care is delivered. With over 20 years of business and technology infrastructure experience, he is a technology strategist who plans, develops, and implements end-to-end IT solutions across various industry verticals, including healthcare, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and professional services.
He is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies, innovation, and foresight to enable, empower, and enhance the staff, physicians, researchers, patients, and families at SickKids. He has multiple certifications in enterprise architecture, people change management and foresight, and he is fluent in English, Dutch, and French. He has built and led high-performance, cross-functional, and technical teams and has established strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
