Easy and close to town

Snap rentals provided an almost seamless check in and check out process, including transfers from and to the airport. The car was ready to go as soon as soon as we arrived at the rental place. The online check in was great and we still had a chance to talk to a real person about questions eg whether chains were required etc

Very good experience

Very good experience. Very fast, professional and kind.
We only have some problem to find the pick up zone at Auckland Airport, maybe because in the e-mail we received we didn't see the photo attached. Thank you

Snap Nelson Airport

Booking on line was so easy. The added feature of entering details like flight number and driving license number made the pick up of the rental car quick and simple. Shuttle was there waiting for me at the airport so there was no waiting around. Nice friendly staff only went to enhance the experience. Drop off was just as easy with a quick prompt shuttle back to the airport to ensure that I would be on time for my flight. The rental car was as ordered and presented in a clean and ready to go condition. Overall a very good service.

Snap rental.

The company was excellent and gave us a warm welcome. Rental prices were very reasonable. The only downside was that even though we had pre-booked snow chains for our vehicle, they did not have any available upon our arrival and pick-up. We were directed to another company where the prices were significantly higher.

In any case, Would probably use their services again

Easiest and most convenient rental company to date.

Very easy and convenient.
Called the number, Shuttle was waiting outside the terminal.
5 mins and we were at the rental place.
Served straight away and car was ready and waiting.
Same with drop of, staff came straight out and took car keys and shuttle was there waiting. Quick drive back to the airport

Super easy process

Super easy process, the shuttle bus was at the airport ready to pick us up upon arrival, there were no lines or waiting to pick up our car, and return was equally easy. The only thing I will say is that the fine print is minuscule when using a third party booking service and we didn’t find out about the $2000 deposit until we picked up the car. Although they did refund it immediately upon drop off of the car - so make sure you have an extra $2k laying around.

Excellent service

Excellent service, car was clean and tidy and the whole process from shuttle collection, pick up and drop off of the vehicle and customer service was exceptional. Highly recommend if going to Queenstown.

Very mixed

Relatively easy pick up & drop off. Didn’t appreciate the hidden fees presented at collection - including a ‘premium location fee’? Your customers have no option but to collect vehicles from where you choose to set up your business, so it’s a tax on customers for the location of the business. This left a bad taste sadly.

Hassle free experience with Snap at Auckland Airport

The pickup was a breeze, got in behind the wheel within minutes. My Corolla was clean inside and out. The staff was polite and helpful. Dropping off the car was easy as. Shuttle transfer was quick too. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Thank you, Snap team.

Excellent Large SUV

The large SUV we rented was very good, very safe and stable when do driving as we drove down to Rotorua for the weekend. Price was very affordable, clean vehicle

190000 Kim’s on the clock, car worn out , tyres just meeting legal obligations.
Nice staff but long wait for pickup in queens town.
Certainly not close to airport queenstwn or ChCh.

Everything you need to know upfront.

Staff were polite and informative. Overall a very efficient service and reasonably priced too. Do need a great big sign to make them easier to find.

Book direct with SNAP instead of third party platforms
Get your cheaper local sim card (2 degree) from their counter instead of OneNZ and Spark shops at the airport

CONS
No refunds, even partial, if need to return rental car several days early

Direct Booking

Good service and value for money

I was impressed by snap rentals - the car I booked (a Suzuki Swift) was clean, tidy and did everything I needed for my Christchurch visit. The staff were helpful and provided good service. The only downside was a refundable charge I wasn’t expecting because I had booked through a 3rd party website - lesson learned, next time I will book with snap directly.

Great value and service

Great value, very easy transfer from and to the airport with added plus of real time tracking of the pickup shuttle, so you can wait inside on a cold and rainy day until it arrives. Easy and quick checkin and return processes and clean, well maintained cars. Booked many times with them, once I gave a wrong location for the booking and the staff was very friendly and helpful to change the location.
