At the beginning of Year 11, my son was predicted a 3 for his English GCSES, hence I decided to get him a tutor via GoStudent. He was very lucky to be matched with Cecile Virely. Cecile really knows her onions. She worked tirelessly with my son, revising his lessons with him, giving him tips on how to answer the questions for his English papers, boosting his confidence, etc. She provided us with feedback on progress on a regular basis. My son passed his English GCSES with an 6. I strongly recommend Cecile to anyone looking for additional support for their child in English

If you want a spirited, lively and empathetic tutor she is most definitely the one for you! Her passion for drama was so contagious and refreshing, ultimately bringing me out of my comfort zone with such engaging teaching techniques. Whenever I had challenging dilemmas with GCSE Drama she was very willing to help with concise advice.

I would have to say that my son has the best tutor in the world.
If you are looking for a good tutor, Summer Henstock is by far the best option.
She is kind , very experienced and she works very nicely with children .
My son improved a lot at school and also he doesn’t find the tutoring sessions boring(he can’t wait ).

I stopped my son's tutoring because his exams were close, i specifically requested that GoStudent programme be stopped to enable my son focus on his revision. My son also told them he wants to stop so he can revise Still Gostudent still went ahead to collect money from my bank account because it was a direct debit. requesting for my money back, they decline to make a refund of £329.00.

She gets along very well with my 8-year-old daughter and teaches German at a native level. I think she is a very successful teacher in student communication with his nice approach and easy-going nature.

Our tutor is excellent and has a super rapport with our daughter. Always on time, well prepared and courteous. Flexible too when we need to move lessons or if our daughter wishes to cover a different topic.

Notice that the positive reviews are mostly about the tutors, not the company itself. The company charges parents up to 34 pounds or so and then pays the tutor 13 of that. It's model is based on exploitation and deception - they don't tell the parents that part

The tutor is very in tune with our daughter and knows how to get her engaged with the work. She has a great understanding about our daughter’s difficulties in concentrating on a task.

I had hope for this working for my child but is was horrible. The tutors kept on leaving, my daughter has dyslexia and the new tutor had a baby crying and making noise the background, she was unable to focus. When cancelling the lesson it was very hard as I was speaking to a computer system the work sheets was not working on my childs computer and she would be sitting doing nothing, last minute she woukd cancel the lesson without informing me. HAVE 2 LESSON REMAINING AND DONT EVEN WANT THERE SERVICES NO MORE.

The business model appears to be set up like a Gym, commit people to more lessons than they might need. Sign them to a subscription for 12 months and enjoy the income from work done by the Tutors.
I discussed with the tutor if fortnightly lessons would be enough to achieve aims, he was content - but Go-Student wouldn't even discuss it and couldn't explain why they set a minimum. It is a shame that the money is the critical part of the service.

Mashika, supported me with maths and chemistry from year 10, and throughout my GCSEs. Booking lessons with her was straightforward and flexible. She is a knowledgeable tutor and really tailored our lessons to the areas where I needed the most support. I achieved higher grades than predicted in both subjects, and would highly recommend her as a tutor.
