Meeting Compost Market Demands for Caltrans

CalRecycle is hosting a webinar Tuesday, Sept 10th from 1-3:30 to discuss the market demands for medium/course compost products that meet US Composting Council’s (USCC) Seal of Testing Assurance Program and Caltrans specifications. The webinar will feature presentations by Caltrans, USCC, Ron Alexander, CalRecycle and Chico State. Topics covered will include Caltrans compost market interests, updates on Caltrans specifications, STA Certified Compost, New Compost Filter Sock Research, techniques for producing medium/course compost and a compost producer round table discussion.
