What’s new in Marrakech this Spring

  • Marrakech will gain new Ryanair flights from Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Bradford.
  • Michelin-starred chefs Hélène Darroze and Rohit Ghai have been engaged to head up the restaurants at the Royal Mansour (royalmansour.com) and Oberoi Marrakech (oberoihotels.com) respectively.

  • Jajjaj (00 212 5243-36537) is a part exhibition space, part tearoom and boutique and is the new venture from Hassan Hajjaj, Marrakech’s most famous artist.
  • Rising star Laurence Leenaert has opened her first riad, Rosemary, where everything has been designed bespoke by the talented artist (rosemarymarrakech.com).
