The Helios I project, led by EBSA - Empresa de Energía de Boyacá and ALLCOT, is the first in Colombia to meet GCC standards and will produce 14,348 MWh of renewable energy annually. Over the next 10 years, it is expected to reduce 143,480 tCO2, contributing to local sustainability efforts. News from our ABC Mangrove Restoration project in Senegal 🇸🇳 This year, we’re targeting 2,500 hectares for reforestation, with 1,500 in Saloum and 1,000 in Casamance. New plantations began this month! Our 30-year project aims to restore 7,000 hectares of mangroves, benefiting 15 villages in Saloum and Casamance. Mangroves support local livelihoods and diverse wildlife but face threats from deforestation. Together with local communities, we reforest and conserve mangroves, ensuring sustainable land use and generating carbon credits for development.
