🦶🌿 Concurrent with his presentation at the Venice Biennale and ahead of his solo exhibition at the KØS Museum in Denmark, Iván Argote presented ‘Wild Flowers’ at during Art Basel in Basel, a series of new sculptures and photographs from his film ‘Levitate.' Presented by Perrotin Gallery, the sculptures reproduce various parts of the Augustus Prima Porta statue as isolated body parts (torso, head, feet) and act as flower pots, containing plants native to the region where they are displayed.
