Exhibition spotlight — on view now in Paris 🇫🇷 Discover Sonia Gomes's first solo exhibition in Paris: ‘... vivem no compasso do sol’ at Mendes Wood DM Paris, featuring works from Gomes’s wide-ranging practice including floor, hanging, and wall textile sculptures alongside bronzes, collages, and drawings. The title of the show, inspired by an essay by curator and researcher Yina Jiménez, roughly translates to ‘living in the tempo of the sun’ and relates to a conceptual framework Jiménez uses to contextualize the artist’s creative channel. You can also find Mendes Wood DM gallery at #ArtBaselParis this year from October 18–20 at the Grand Palais📍
