ESPGHAN Annual Meeting

Proud to have received the Alex Mowat prize, in recognition of the best presentation in Hepatology at the ESPGHAN Annual Meeting 2024, for our latest research “Female sex hormones are negatively associated with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) in children with overweight and obesity”. I am thrilled to share that I recently participated in the ESPGHAN Annual Meeting, where #three_of_my_abstracts were accepted for poster presentation. It was an incredible experience to present my research alongside esteemed colleagues in the field. I am also deeply honored to have received the #Young_Investigator_Award at the conference. This recognition is a significant milestone in my career and motivates me to continue pursuing excellence in my research. A big thank you to my supervisor (Anisuddin Ahmed), collaborators, and the organizing committee for their support and encouragement. The second part of the ELPA at ESPGHAN concluded with an enlightening lecture by the renowned Prof. Dr. Patrizia Burra from the University of Padua, Italy, and Chair of the Public Affairs Group at United European Gastroenterology (UEG). The session covered the critical topic of pregnancy and childbirth after solid organ transplantation, providing invaluable scientific insights, potential complications, medical outcomes, and strategies to minimize risks.
