I am an experienced Intellectual Property Specialist and Trainer, with a PhD in Intellectual Property (IP) from the University of Montpellier, France.

As an International Consultant specializing in Geographical Indications (GIs), I bring more than 15 years of expertise in the GI field, offering legal and technical consultancy. My work involves shaping the legal framework, guiding GI development and management, conducting trainings, and facilitating collaboration between the public and private sectors.

As an IP specialist and University lecturer, my passion for IP and education has driven me to embark on an exciting venture, the establishment of IPotencia, focusing on providing comprehensive IP trainings for women entrepreneurs, small businesses and youth (schools and universities' students).

Having witnessed the transformative power of intellectual property in fostering innovation and protecting creative endeavors, I am eager to share my expertise and knowledge in an impactful way. My goal is to empower entrepreneurs and youth with a strong understanding of IP principles, equipping them with the competences and tools necessary to protect and leverage their creative and innovative works.

Equally, I assist startups and women entrepreneurs in elevating their businesses through tailored IP strategies designed to enhance their competitive edge. I offer insightful guidance in protecting and managing entrepreneurs' intellectual assets.

Prior to my consulting and training career, I enjoyed a decade-long academic journey as a law professor at the Lebanese University's 'Filière Francophone de Droit,' where I taught various law subjects, including Intellectual Property. I also served as an IP specialist at the IP Office in Lebanon for 10 years where I gained invaluable experience in IP protection and strategies.

Work experience with: United Nations, governments and public institutions, national IP offices, NGOs, universities, research institutions, producers and private sector.
