    The winner of the DSM Innovation Award 2018 was for the Project Bond. This project aimed to develop a microbial muramidase that hydrolyze the peptidoglycans from the bacterial cell wall fragments from death bacteria present on the gut of the animals, to optimize the gastrointestinal functionality and consequently improve the feed efficiency of the animals.
